This Privacy Policy explains what information Cicibicim ("we", "us") collects when you use the Cicibicim app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. Cicibicim is developed by Ata Atayev and Eid Almunajed, based in Bursa, Türkiye.

Account information: when you create an account, we collect your email address and password. Your password is handled entirely by our authentication provider (Google Firebase) — we never see or store it ourselves. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

Profile information: you can optionally add a username, a short bio, and choose an avatar. This is stored on your own device and is not required to use the app.

Learning progress: your XP, completed chapters, and quiz results are currently stored on your own device so the app can track your progress. This data is not currently linked to your account across devices.

Pro waitlist: if you tap "Notify Me" on the Cicibicim Pro screen, we save your account email and the date you joined the waitlist, so we can let you know when Pro launches.

We do not collect your phone number, precise location, contacts, or any payment information — Cicibicim does not currently process any payments.

We use your information to create and secure your account, save your Pro waitlist interest, send you account-related emails (like a welcome message or a password reset), and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for third-party advertising — Cicibicim does not currently show ads.

Cicibicim's AI Speaking Coach is built from hand-written conversation scripts created by our team — it does not send your responses to any external AI provider. If this changes in the future (for example, if we add a real-time AI-powered coach), we will update this policy and let you know before that feature is available.

We use Google Firebase to run our backend (authentication, database, and hosting). Firebase processes data on our behalf under Google's own privacy and security terms. We may also use Google Search Console and basic website analytics to understand how our site is used.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your associated data within a reasonable time, except where we are required to keep it for legal reasons.

Cicibicim is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under 13, please only use Cicibicim with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without such consent, please contact us at info@cicibicim.com and we will remove it.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing info@cicibicim.com. You can also delete your account directly from the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Cicibicim grows and adds new features. If we make significant changes, we will let you know in the app before they take effect.
