These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cicibicim app and website (the "Service"), operated by Ata Atayev and Eid Almunajed ("we", "us", "Cicibicim"), based in Bursa, Türkiye. By creating an account or using Cicibicim, you agree to these Terms.

If you don't agree with these Terms, please don't use the Service.

Cicibicim is a language-learning app that teaches English through story-based lessons, flashcards, quizzes, grammar lessons, and a scripted speaking coach. We may add, change, or remove features at any time as we keep building the app.

You need an account to use most of Cicibicim. You agree to provide accurate information when signing up, to keep your password secure, and to let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or have a parent or guardian's permission if you are younger.

Please use Cicibicim respectfully. Don't use the Service to harass others, attempt to hack or disrupt the app, scrape or copy our content for redistribution, or use it for anything illegal.

All lessons, stories, characters (including Cicibicim herself), graphics, and other content in the app belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal learning — you may not copy, redistribute, or sell them.

Anything you enter into your profile (like your username or bio) remains yours, but you give us permission to display it back to you within the app.

Cicibicim Pro is an upcoming paid tier that will unlock additional content. It is not yet available for purchase — joining the waitlist only registers your interest and does not create any payment obligation. When Pro launches, separate pricing and subscription terms will apply, and we will ask for your agreement to those terms before you pay for anything.

Cicibicim is provided "as is." We work hard to make it reliable and fun, but we can't guarantee it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate — language learning content, like any educational material, may occasionally contain mistakes we haven't caught yet. If you spot one, please tell us at info@cicibicim.com.

To the extent permitted by law, Cicibicim and its developers are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months (which, for most users, is currently nothing).

You can stop using Cicibicim and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We may update these Terms as Cicibicim evolves. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Cicibicim after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
