These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cicibicim app and website (the "Service"), operated by Ata Atayev and Eid Almunajed ("we", "us", "Cicibicim"), based in Bursa, Türkiye. By creating an account or using Cicibicim, you agree to these Terms.

If you don't agree with these Terms, please don't use the Service.

Cicibicim is a language-learning app that teaches English through story-based lessons, flashcards, quizzes, grammar lessons, and a scripted speaking coach. We may add, change, or remove features at any time as we keep building the app.

You need an account to use most of Cicibicim. You agree to provide accurate information when signing up, to keep your password secure, and to let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or have a parent or guardian's permission if you are younger.

Please use Cicibicim respectfully. Don't use the Service to harass others, attempt to hack or disrupt the app, scrape or copy our content for redistribution, or use it for anything illegal.

All lessons, stories, characters (including Cicibicim herself), graphics, and other content in the app belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal learning — you may not copy, redistribute, or sell them.

Anything you enter into your profile (like your username or bio) remains yours, but you give us permission to display it back to you within the app.

Cicibicim Pro is a paid subscription, available in the Android app through Google Play and on our website through Paddle. It removes the free limit on the mini-games, so Pro members can play them without waiting. We may add further Pro features over time, but a feature shown as "coming soon" is not promised until it is released.

Free accounts can play the mini-games for a limited time (currently 10 minutes), after which they are paused for a waiting period (currently one hour). In the Android app, you may be offered the option to watch a video ad to get extra play time (currently 5 minutes per ad) instead of waiting; this is optional and may not always be available. These free limits, and what Pro includes, may change.

Pro is offered as a monthly or a yearly subscription. The price, billing period and any free trial are shown on the Pro screen before you subscribe. Prices include VAT where it applies. Payment is charged when you confirm the purchase or, if you start with a free trial, when the trial ends: to your Google Play account in the Android app, or to the card or payment method you give Paddle on our website.

A free trial is offered once per Google account, in line with Google Play's rules. When it ends, your subscription becomes a paid one and renews automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before it ends (for Google Play, at least 24 hours before). You can manage or cancel a Google Play subscription at any time in Google Play (Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions), and a website subscription from Manage subscription on the Pro screen. Deleting your Cicibicim account or uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription.

Purchases in the Android app are handled by Google Play, and their refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy. Purchases on our website are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for those orders and handles their payments, taxes, invoices and refunds. Our Refund Policy at www.cicibicim.com/refund-policy explains how refunds work in full. If something goes wrong — for example, you were charged but Pro did not unlock — tell us at info@cicibicim.com and we will help. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under the law.

We may change our prices. You will be told and, where required, asked for your consent before a new price applies to an existing subscription. Pro is linked to your Cicibicim account, so a subscription bought on the website also unlocks Pro in the Android app and the other way round; if you reinstall the app or change device, use Restore purchases on the Pro screen.

Cicibicim is provided "as is." We work hard to make it reliable and fun, but we can't guarantee it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate — language learning content, like any educational material, may occasionally contain mistakes we haven't caught yet. If you spot one, please tell us at info@cicibicim.com.

To the extent permitted by law, Cicibicim and its developers are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months (which, for free accounts, is nothing).

You can stop using Cicibicim and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We may update these Terms as Cicibicim evolves. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Cicibicim after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
